What
is the membership fee?
Our
annual membership fee is $200. Dues are non-refundable.
How
often do you meet?
We meet
weekly on Thursday mornings at 7:45
How
long are your meetings?
Our
meetings start with a 15 minute social period followed by one hour
of networking.
Is
there any networking time?
Each
member has a 60 second presentation in which they can speak of new
or existing information relating to their business.
We also have a 10 minute presentation period and each week a different
member makes a presentation.
There is also a referral passing, testimonial and announcement period.
We also encourage one-on-one meetings to familiarize yourself with
the other members.
Where
do you meet? Typically
we meet in Westboro at the off of Reliant Mortgage but on occasion
we host offsite meetings at other member offices.
What
if I have to miss a meeting?
Weekly
attendance is not mandatory but we highly recommend you send a substitute
in you place if you are unable to attend.
How
is Rte 9 BB different from other networking groups?
The
fundamentals of our group are similar to those of BNI (Business
Networking International) and other business related networking
groups. However, we maintain a more intimate, stress-free atmosphere
at a more affordable cost.
What
is the application process?
A Prospective
member may attend two meetings as a visitor. Prospective members
then complete this application and submit it with a check to the
Membership Committee for review. The membership committee completes
the screening process and notifies the prospective member of acceptance
or non-acceptance before the next meeting. The Membership Committee
notifies the President. The President announces new members at chapter
meeting following acceptance by the Membership Committee.
Do
you hold social events?
Throughout
the year we host member and non-member team building, social events.
We also maintain a presence within the community by attending various
business related events.
